Binance CEO Expresses Shock at DOGE’s “Long-Lasting Power”

Changpeng Zhao, the CEO of Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, expressed his shock about DOGE in a Twitter space on Wednesday about the meme coin Dogecoin, saying he’s surprised that DOGE is still prominent till now ever since it’s launched, adding that the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX is the reason why the meme coin remains relevant till now.

“One meme coin that really surprised me was actually dogecoin. It has had a super long-lasting power. I thought it would have disappeared a long time ago. But Elon Musk latched onto it and extended its life maybe,” said Binance CEO while speaking in the Twitter space titled “Ask me anything.”

According to CZ, he’s got nothing against meme coins, and meme coins are listed on Binance majorly respond to the need of Binance users.

Dogecoin was launched in 2013, and surprisingly, the token became popular in the crypto market; in fact, it is one of the largest cryptocurrencies by market cap, thanks to Elon Musk who has been keeping the coin afloat since 2019 when he first tweeted about it.

In reality, Binance CEO’s statement about Elon Musk keeping Dogecoin afloat seems to be true because when the crypto community appears to have forgotten about the existence of Dogecoin, the “DOGE Father” Elon Musk will tweet about it, and instantly, DOGE will skyrocket by a notable percentage.

Elon Musk has been supporting DOGE and sometimes SHIB until recently when he started tweeting about other meme coins, namely Milady and PEPE, and just like DOGE, both tokens soared notably after his tweet about them.
