Amazon Web Services Partners Avalanche to Bring Blockchain Technology to Governments, Enterprise

To help in bringing blockchain technology to enterprises, institutions, and governments, Amazon Web Services has unveiled a partnership with Avalanche blockchain, as per Wednesday’s blog post.

According to the post, with the support from Amazon Web Services for Avalanche infrastructure and dApp ecosystem, developers will henceforth find it easy to launch and manage nodes on the Avalanche blockchain.

“It has been a huge boon for both individual and enterprise developers to be able to spin up nodes and test networks on the fly with AWS in whatever legal jurisdiction makes the most sense for them,” said Emin Gün Sirer, Founder and CEO of Ava Labs. “I’m proud that we’ve implemented a protocol that can accommodate millions of participants with near-instant finality. Our work with Amazon can accelerate the positive impact of Avalanche.”

Additionally, Ava Labs is looking to add Subnet deployment as a managed service to the AWS marketplace so both parties with a few clicks, can launch custom subnets. A functionality that will include a feature to distribute validators securing the Subnet across different regions and availability zones to improve robustness.

AWS-Avalanche blockchain partnership is the first AWS collaboration with a blockchain company, although several other blockchains like Ethereum have used AWS in powering their networks.
