Texas Senator Pushes for Crypto Adoption
Ted Cruz, a Texas Republican Senator has pushed for wider adoption of crypto in US congress.
If the bill is passed, lawmakers will be able to pay in crypto for their meals and also spend crypto in vending firms.
As of press time, the resolution of the bill is yet to be publicized and it is not known yet whether or not the bill will be approved and or implemented.
Senator Ted Cruz for a while has been a pro-crypto lawmaker, in early 2022, according to financial disclosure, he purchased Bitcoin worth between $15,000 and $50,000.
Apart from Senator Ted Cruz, there are also crypto-friendly senators in the legislative arm of the US, Pat Toomey, a Pennsylvanian lawmaker recently proposed a stablecoin bill that is focused on creating a regulatory framework for payments.
Also, Senator Cynthia Lummis has proposed legislation that is crypto-friendly in congress.
