Meme cryptocurrency Shiba Inu is now listed on Public, the rival exchange to Robinhood. Public started listing cryptocurrencies on its platform earlier this month. Shiba Inu is joining Bitcoin, Etherum, Litecoin, and Dogecoin on the exchange.
Shiba Inu’s new listing comes after its fans went on Twitter demanding for commission-free trading platform Robinhood to take on their favorite meme coin. Robinhood is yet to respond to this heed. However, Robinhood rival Public has come to the rescue.
Public Competing Well With WeBull and Robinhood
Although Public has added cryptocurrencies on its platform only recently, it is doing quite well and having competitors like WeBull and Robinhood. Launched in 2019, the site has grown to be a social investing application. Public has secured more than 1 million users and has a market value of roughly $1.2 billion.
Speaking about the launch of the crypto assets, Public’s spokesperson revealed that the trading platform will come with a Volatility Reminder feature.
The Volatility Reminder feature works to alert traders of the volatile nature of cryptocurrencies, where they swing a lot in the short-tern and follow different patterns than stock market securities. With this feature, Public aims to push for informed decisions from the traders.
The spokesperson to Public also confirmed that users who had already activated their trading in the application can now see the Shiba Inu page and learn more about the coin.

Before Public listing of Shiba Inu, there were rumors circulation that it is Robinhood that had added Shiba Inu. The impressionable crypto community was expectedly swirled by the news, boosting the price of the Dogecoin rival on Monday by up to 8.57%.
