Florida-based Bitcoin payment firm Strike has expanded its payment services from the US, Argentina, and El Salvador to about 65 countries.

This expansion was disclosed in a Friday Miami Beach conference by Strike CEO  Jack Mallers.

According to Strike, this expansion is targeted at 3 billion people, “our end goal is to address the 7 to 8 billion people in every single country,” Manuela Rios, Strike Vice President told Coindesk in an interview.

Using the Bitcoin Lightning Network, the Strike app can be used to make cheaper, fast, and more seamless Bitcoin transactions, and currently.

The Strike app now has a new interface including the ability to let users hold the two cryptocurrencies namely BTC and Tether’s USDT.
