Crypto.com has announced that its payment feature Crypto.com pay is now available to Shopify merchants. The merchants can enable Crypto.com Pay on their online storefronts for customers to make payments via the feature.
Crypto.com Pay’s Increasing Popularity
Crypto.com has been growing as the preferred cryptocurrency payment app for online merchants. During the launch of Crypto.com, Pay’s integration with Shopify is waiving the 0.5% settlement fee on all transactions for one month. Shopify merchants who sign up for Crypto.com Pay until June 30, 2022, are viable for the promotion.
Payment feature Crypto.com Pay is growing in popularity because of its zero transaction fees. Merchants can receive crypto payments instantly from a global base of Crypto.com users at no cost at all. The service is completely off-chain, real-time, and accessible to all Crypto.com App users.
Crypto.com Pay usually has a settlement fee of 0.5%. The amount is around 80% less compared to other typical payment processors. Setting up Crypto.com Pay has zero costs, and the integration is very fast. Moreover, customers have an array of over 20 tokens, including CRO, ETH, BTC, DOT, and DOGE.
Apart from the waived commission, the exchange platform Crypto.com also has an incentive for users to encourage them to pay their bills using Crypto.com Pay. For every customer that checks out with the Cronos token (CRO), there is a crypto cashback Pay Rewards, which can go as high as 10% during the promotion periods.
Crypto.com Pay’s Integration with Shopify Brings Convenience
Commenting on Crypto.com Pay’s integration with Shopify, the exchange’s co-founder and CEO Kris Marszalek said the exchange was incredibly excited to integrate into Shopify and to bring this capability to even more customers and merchants around the world.
On Shopify’s end, its Lead of Blockchain Ecosystem, John S. Lee, described the integration as a great move that would help both the merchants and customers. Lee stated that the exchange platform Crypto.com would help Shopify merchants provide an additional fast and convenient way for customers to pay for their online orders.
