Yello Paradisers! Vitalik Buterin, the renowned co-founder of Ethereum, has once again transferred a significant amount of ETH. As per a recent post by lookonchain, a tracker of major crypto transactions, the Ethereum was likely sent to the Bitstamp exchange.

Recent activities show that Vitalik has been consistently transferring ETH to exchanges, particularly Bitstamp and Coinbase. The latest transaction involved a transfer of 1,000 ETH, valued at approximately $1.64 million. In the past two months alone, he has sent a total of 4,400 ETH (equivalent to over $7 million) to Bitstamp.
📰 Previous Transfers
About two weeks ago, Buterin moved approximately 400 ETH (valued around $1 million at the time) to Coinbase. A month prior, he sent 600 ETH to the same exchange, presumably for selling.

Interestingly, these transfers by Buterin have not significantly impacted Ethereum’s price.
📰 Whale Activity
In a separate event, on-chain data provider Santiment reported that unidentified whales withdrew a massive 110,000 ETH (worth about $181 million) from centralized exchanges. This marked the largest Ethereum withdrawal from CEXes since September 21. The total Ethereum supply on exchanges is now at its lowest in over 5.5 years. Conversely, non-exchange Ethereum supply has hit an all-time high of 115.88 million ETH.
📰 Ethereum’s Price Movement
Despite a recent dip that saw ETH’s price drop by 1.66%, the cryptocurrency has since rebounded, trading at around $1,643 at the time of reporting.
