Al Jalila Foundation Accepts Cryptocurrency to Expand Donation Channels

UAE non-profit Al Jalila Foundation is under the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives. AJF’s approval to receive aid in digital currency pioneers Al Jalila Foundation as the first healthcare charity in the UAE to do so.

According to the announcement, Al Jalila Foundation crypto donations will be possible via a partnership with an undisclosed major cryptocurrency platform. Bybit, Crypto.com, and Kraken recently announced setting up offices in Dubai.

The organization’s CEO Abdulkareem Sultan Al Olama, stated that Al Jalila is always looking for innovative ways to expand its donations channels. AJF’s approval to accept crypto donations provides an ease to crypto donors from all over the world to contribute to the philanthropic organization. Another major humanitarian organization, Save the Children, also announced it was accepting crypto donations in partnership with Cardano Foundation.
