Size and Design
The PlayStation Portal boasts a remarkable size, being about 30cm wide, which is considerably larger than the Nintendo Switch. Its design features an elongated form factor with a screen nestled between an extended DualSense controller. Despite its significant width, the Portal maintains a comfortable grip thanks to the ergonomic design of the controller.
Features and User Experience
Retaining the key features of the PS5’s DualSense controller, the Portal includes resistive shoulder buttons, a microphone, gyro, USB-C charging port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. While the joysticks are slightly downsized, they don’t compromise the overall user experience.
Weighing 529 grams, the Portal is heavier than the standard DualSense controller. However, its balanced weight distribution gives it a lighter feel compared to the lighter Nintendo Switch.
Connectivity and Performance
