Elon Musk’s Tweet is Wink that Could Mean Yes
A user had asked the Tesla and SpaceX CEO about the future of Dogecoin with Starlink. The tweet presented an idea that SpaceX’s merchandise store and Starlink accept DOGE payments. Tesla CEO Elon Musk replied to the tweet with a wink.
As usual, the crypto community ran with this Elon Musk’s tweet. There is no telling what this wink could or could not mean. Nonetheless, the Dogecoin community did not fail to conclude that DOGE payments for Starlink may be in the works. Dogecoin creator Billy Markus said that he wanted to buy a model rocket with dog money in a witty reply.
Starlink works on a mission to deliver high-speed broadband internet to customers in the planet’s most remote areas. The firm has close to 2,000 functional satellites. It charges $99 per month for its high-speed internet and $499 for the hardware kit. If Dogecoin champion Elon’s hint is what the community assumes, people could be paying this amount with Dogecoin.
Elon Musk is Championing for DOGE Payments Acceptance
Starlink is like an arm of SpaceX, which the Twitter user wants the masses to buy merchandise from and pay with DOGE. SpaceX has already accepted Dogecoin payments for its “DOGE-1 Mission to the moon,” which is set to launch on the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.
SpaceX announced that it would start accepting Dogecoin. Tesla accepted Bitcoin for a while last year but stopped because of environmental concerns. Tesla CEO Elon Musk urged fast-food chain McDonald’s to start accepting Dogecoin. However, McDonald’s has not taken any action to indicate that it will do so.
