Where is Do Kwon?
Prior to the recent information, many believe that Do Kwon is hiding somewhere in Singapore, although, Singapore police refuted the claim some weeks ago, declaring that Kwon is not in the city-state.
As per recent information on November 3 by Korean Broadcasting System (KBS), Do Kwon is likely to be hiding in Europe. The report stated that it is “understood that [Kwon] is currently in Europe.” Kwon previously moved to a third country in Europe through Dubai, it added.
According to KBS, the South Korean authorities have invalidated Terra CEO’s passport, this means that with an invalidated passport, Kwon “cannot travel legally between countries” which will see him as an illegal immigrant in any country he’s staying.
Kwon who at a point resided in South Korea reportedly moved to an unknown location in Singapore and in September, he fled the country hitherto, his whereabouts are unknown.
Do Kwon has been a wanted fugitive by prosecutors in South Korea after a court issued an arrest warrant on him for violating the capital market rules.
Also, Interpol has issued a “red notice” to him which has made him a wanted fugitive in over 190 countries globally.
Kwon Promises to Reveal his Whereabouts Soon
In response to media reports about Kwon location, Kwon has always responded that he is not on the run from any authorities.
On November 3, he tweeted again promising to reveal his location soon and as well invite the police, in the tweet, he wrote;
“Alright ill throw a meetup/conference soon to get over this in hiding bs, Cops from world over welcome to attend.”
