To leverage crypto popularity, Ralph Lauren, one of the world’s most popular luxury brands has partnered with a crypto payment service provider, BitPay to accept Bitcoin, Ethereum and many other cryptocurrencies as payments in Miami stores.
The Miami stores will mark the first-ever store of the fashion giant to adopt crypto as a payment option for shoppers.
Cryptocurrencies to be accepted via BitPay include Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Polygon (MATIC), other cryptocurrencies are Dogecoin (DOGE), Shiba Inu (SHIB), ApeCoin (APE), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Dai (DAI), Euro Coin (EUROC), Gemini Dollar (GUSD), Litecoin (LTC), Pax Dollar (USDP), USD Coin (USDC), and Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC).
Also, if a refund is required, it will be done using the same cryptocurrency used as payment, and of course, will be adjusted to the original value, should the price of the crypto change.
As part of its crypto push, Ralph Lauren also partnered with a Web 3 community Poolsuite to launch NFT collections to be issued to about 3,000 Poolsuite community members.
