The developer of the popular video game, Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), Krafton inc., have signed the memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Solana labs to build blockchain based NFTs services and games. The two companies will unite in the design and marketing strategy of the blockchain games, NFTs, and other blockchain technologies that include jointly cooperating on investment opportunities.

According to Johnny Lee, the head of games business development at Solana labs, “we are pleased to share the future of games with Krafton, a company that brought innovations to the gaming industry.”

Krafton for a long time, has been exploring different ways to explore its game building abilities on web 3.0 technologies, however, this partnership is an excellent opportunity to realize this idea. Therefore, this will lead to the integration of Krafton’s games on the Solana blockchain and players will be allowed to make in-game transactions using crypto coins like Solana’s token SOL and also the use of NFTs in the game.

There has been widespread adoption of Solana by developers due to its network strength, lower transaction fees, and high speed.
